• Target Field shelter

Founded in 1976, Southern Vales Archery Club welcomes all types of bows including longbow, horsebows, recurve, compound, target crossbows and everything else in between. SVAC members are made up of male and female, juniors and seniors with a common interest and love of all things archery.

SVAC is predominately a target archery club, holding regular scheduled shoots (refer to the Club Calendar page for further details)

Event types:

  • Practice shoots on Saturday mornings from 9:30am to 12:30pm
  • Scheduled shoots on Saturday afternoons sign in by 1:00pm
  • QRE Target shoot on first Saturday afternoon of each month
  • Twilight shoots (Tuesday nights from 5pm) during Daylight Saving
  • Indoor shoots on Monday nights sign in by 6:30pm
  • QRE Indoor shoot on first Monday of each month
  • Club Championship
  • Tournaments

  • We hold a Come and Try day twice a year. One on the Easter Saturday and the other as part of our Hope Cup charity day, held in September.
  • New Members and Visitors are always welcome!
